Cutting up to 16’ When the desired cut length exceeds the 24” scale, simply remove the “BLACK” slide block from the scale by loosening the thumb screw counterclockwise and sliding the block off the cutter base. Slide the “WHITE” slide block onto the scale. You can now remove the tape measure from the holster and attach it to the “WHITE”...

You can now separate the slide block with attached measuring tape and extend it to the desired cut length up to 16’. Figure 3.1.3 Figure 3.1.3 While working on any surface simply use the locking mechanism on the measuring tape to secure the slide block from moving.
