Failure to follow installation instructions and not using the provided hardware may damage the intake tube, throttle body and engine. 1. Preparing Vehicle a. Make sure vehicle is parked on level surface. b.
- Page 4 e. Unclip the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor wiring f. Unscrew the inlet tube clamp and remove the harness from the air filter housing. inlet tube from the throttle body. g. Unplug the MAF sensor harness connector. h. Remove the two bolts securing the stock air filter housing to the engine bay.
- Page 5 ® b. Use the supplied zip-tie to secure the throttle c. Check to see that the inside of the AEM intake cable to the main wiring harness. Also remove the pipe and air filter are clean and free from any bolt securing the coolant temperature sensor foreign objects and/or obstructions.

AEM Air Intake System Warranty Policy ® warrants that its intake systems will last for the life of your vehicle. AEM will not honor this warranty due to mechanical damage (i.e. improper installation or fitment), damage from misuse, accidents or flying debris. AEM will not warrant its powder coating if the finish has been cleaned with a hydrocarbon-based solvent.
