INSTALLATION

Customer Information: The information in this
installation instruction is intended for use only by skilled
technicians who have the proper tools, equipment, and
training to correctly and safely add equipment to your
vehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by
“do-it-yourselfers.”
NOTE:
• Do not damage the paint finish when you install the
hood air deflector.
• This hood air deflector kit should be installed only if the
ambient air temperature is above 15°C (60°F).
• To allow the adhesive to cure, do not wash the vehicle
for 24 hours. Please advise the customer.
• The hood air deflector cannot be installed with the nose
mask.
Installing the Hood Air Deflector
1.
Using the front “H” emblem, locate the center of the
hood. Measure up 28 mm from the edge of the hood,
and clean the area where the center stop will attach
with an alcohol swab.

2.
Remove two adhesive backings from the center
stop, and attach it to the hood at the marked location
with the arrow facing down.
3.
Open the hood. Locate the two square holes in the
hood. Push one grommet into each square hole.
