Messages
(MENU 3-2)
Using the Messages menu, you can:
• read your text messages and listen to voice
messages.
• send text messages.
• view how many messages you sent and received.
You can quickly access this menu by pressing the
key in Standby Mode.
Inbox
(MENU 3-2-1)

Your phone can receive voice mail and text
messages. When the phone receives a message, an
alert sounds, and a text notification displays along
with the New Message icon (
on the display until you read the text messages or
listen to the voice messages.
Your phone receives incoming messages in both
Standby Mode and the talk mode. Messages can be
received when the phone is locked, but you cannot
access them. To review messages, you must unlock
the phone.
When the memory is full and a new message comes
in, the phone automatically erases the messages in
the Inbox from the oldest to receive the new one. If
all of the messages are protected or not reviewed,
the phone rejects new messages.
