Setting the ISO Sensitivity

Sensitivity is a measure of how rapidly the camera reacts to a light source. The higher the sensitivity, the brighter the picture
is under the same exposure condition.
Allowing the flash to fire will help brighten the picture. However, if other settings disable the flash use, set the ISO sensitivity
to a higher level.
Set the Mode Dial to
1. Press the Navigation Wheel once.
The ISO indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
2. Press the UP or DOWN button to select ISO Setting.
The adjustable ISO control bar appears on the LCD monitor.
3. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to set the desired ISO mode.
The available options are:
Automatically sets the ISO to compensate for various lighting conditions
AUTO
(up to 400)
This mode is recommended for bright lighting conditions.
50
This mode is recommended for most situations except when lighting is
100
poor or when higher shutter speeds are required.
200
The image may be grainy when set to this mode or higher.
The image may be grainy.
400
Sharpening may raise the noise level.
4. When you are satisfied, press the Navigation Wheel again.
The selected ISO Sensitivity level is displayed on the LCD monitor.
Notes
Higher ISO sensitivity might produce grainy (noisy) effect on the picture.
AUTO ISO mode will allow the user to take quality pictures in most lighting conditions.
