Camera Setup

The Camera feature allows you to enrol cameras and view up to eight cameras at one time. If using existing (mounted)
cameras, go to Step 4 below. If this is a first time setup, you will need to Discover/Configure the cameras prior to
mounting and then follow the steps below.
The following cameras were tested and are supported:
Performance Series:
HED1PR3, HED3PR3, H4D3PRV3, H4D3PRV2, HBD1PR1, HBD3PR1, HBD3PR2
EquIP Series S:
HCW2S2X, H3D2S2X, H4D2S2X, H3D2SR2X, HCD2S2X, H3D3S2X, H4D3S2X, H3D3SR2X,
HCD5S2X, H3D5S2X, H4D5S2X, H3D5SR2X, H2S1P6X, H2S2P6X
HBD2PR1X, H2D2PR1X and HVD3V8MPD (lense)
The cameras should be setup using the appropriate, dedicated configuration tool supplied with the camera prior to the
importing camera to the TouchCenter Plus. The settings should not exceed below values.
Maximum acceptable resolution for the cameras is CIF (352x288), in case of EquIP Series S it is acceptable to use
640x480
Maximum acceptable frame rate is 5
Encoding should be set to H.264 or MJPEG (however H.264 delivers better image quality)
If you want to be able to use the other camera channels for recording etc. it is advised to use the second or last
available channel in the camera for the TouchCenter Plus
