Cleaning and Maintaining the Camcorder

Cleaning the viewfinder
Releasing the Eyecup
1. Pull the VIEWFINDER up and then turn the two
screws counter-clock-wise.
2. Pull EYECUP out.
3. Clean the EYECUP and the VIEWFINDER screen
with a soft cloth and cotton swab or a blower.
Reattaching the Eyecup
4. Put the EYECUP on the VIEWFINDER.
5. Refit the screws.
Cleaning the Video Heads
To ensure normal recording and clear pictures, clean the video heads
when the playback pictures display square block-shaped noise or only the
blue screen appears during playback, as the video heads may be dirty.
1. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
2. Insert the cleaning tape.
3. Press the (PLAY/STILL)button.
4. Press the (STOP) button after 10 seconds.
Reference
Check the quality of the picture using a video cassette. If It is still bad,
repeat the operation.
If the problem continues, contact your local authorized service centre.
Clean the video heads with the dry type cassette cleaner.

K zaji‰tûní normálního nahrávání a jasného obrazu ãistûte videohlavy v
okamÏiku, kdy se pfii pfiehrávání objevují poruchy ve tvaru ãtvercÛ nebo se
bûhem pfiehrávání objeví pouze modrá obrazovka. Hlavy mohou b˘t
zneãi‰tûny.
Doporuãení
Zkontrolujte kvalitu obrazu pouÏitím videokazety. Pokud je obraz stále
‰patn˘, postup opakujte. Pokud problém pfietrvává, spoje se s Va‰ím
místním autorizovan˘m servisním stfiediskem.
Hlavy ãistûte suchou ãistící kazetou.
Uvolnûte víãko okuláru a
1. vytáhnûte HLEDÁâEK a pak vy‰roubujte dva
‰rouby proti smûru hodinov˘ch ruãiãek.
2. vytáhnûte víãko okuláru.
3. vyãistûte víãko okuláru a obrazovku HLEDÁâKU
mûkkou utûrkou a smotkem vaty nebo ruãním
ofukovaãem.
Opûtovné vloÏení víãka okuláru.
4. VloÏte VÍâKO OKULÁRU na HLEDÁâEK.
5. Znovu za‰roubujte ‰rouby.
âi‰tûní videohlav
1. Dejte spínaã power do polohy PLAYER.
2. VloÏte ãistící kazetu.
3. Stisknûte tlaãítko (PLAY/STILL).
4. Po 10 sekundách stisknûte tlaãítko
