User Manual - Torches
Thank you for purchasing one of our products.
The following instructions will help you to familiarize with the torch, and
are intended to assist you with any general problem or doubt. Please
read it carefully before using the torch.
Using your torch
The torch has up to five light functions and four main light intensities,
depending on the model:
• Functions: Boost, High, Medium, Low and Strobe (10 HZ)
• Q1 – Q1mini – Q2: High and Low
• Q3classic: On/Off, no focus
• Q3 – Q3r – Q4xr – Q7defend* – Q7compact – Q7xr: All functions
available
• Q7r: Boost, High, Low, and Strobe
You can enter the different light functions by pressing the switch
several times, as shown below.
Turning on the torch
With the torch turned off, press the button completely down. This will
turn on the torch in Boost intensity.
Pressing the button quickly will only turn on the torch for a moment. In
order to turn it fully on, it is necessary to press the button completely
down. The "Touch function" makes possible to toggle swiftly between
light modes.
Turning off the torch
With the torch turned on in any light mode, simply press the button
down once to turn it off.

Using the focus
The focus allows to expand the flood of the torch from an area of 5° to a
maximum range of 70°.
For some models, the torch head can be locked in the selected position
by rotating it. This applies to models Q4xr, Q7r, Q7defend and Q7xr.

Placing the batteries
Pay special attention to the polarity of the batteries when placing them
in the battery pack or in the charger – only for rechargeable batteries.
* Q7defend light functions are programmed in a different order: Boost,
Strobe (10 HZ), High, Medium and Low

There are several possible causes: Check the contacts. You may need to clean them once in a while, or make sure that there is nothing obstructing them, such as the original protection tape.
