LTG Organs Equipped with MIDI Phase II
Rodgers LTG organs equipped with MIDI Phase II are able
to use any of the
16 MIDI channels to control MIDI devices such
as the PR-300. Because the PR-300 is set to receive on channels
1-10, however, these will be the channels used for a Multi-Track
Recording.
The MIDI couplers of an LTG organ send on the following
MIDI channels:

*This MIDI coupler can send on any of the
16 MIDI channels.
These MIDI channels are normally used to control sounds in
an external MIDI device, such as the PR-300.
The sounds of the Rodgers organ can also be sequenced
using the following MIDI channels:

The Rodgers LTG organs normally send and receive on
these channels (called "MIDI Master Channels"). For example,
if notes are pressed on the Great manual, MIDI information is
generated on MIDI channel 12, even ifno stops are drawn.
Likewise, if the organ receives MIDI information on these
channels, the corresponding division of the organ will play.
A Multi-Track Recording can use a combination of the PR-
300 and organ stops; the MIDI channel used will determine
which instrument plays.
If you want
to
build a sequence which uses both the PR-300
and a Rodgers organ, the organ part must be recorded last. The
next example will show you how
to
do this.
