    To get more details for setting up and operating the S40, please refer to this manual thoroughly. In this manual, you’ll find a more detailed description of the features of your S40 Powered Subwoofer, as well as setting up and operating instructions and com- plete specifications.

    Do not connect speakers and turn on power until you have read this manual thoroughly. • Do not expose the S40 to dust or moisture and be sure to wipe it clean of any dust regularly. • Do not connect an amplifier to the S40 subwoofer speaker or the warranty will be void.

    4. MONO INPUT Accepts line level output specified for a powered subwoofer only. The SUB MONO OUT from th Samson DMS80 would connect to the MONO INPUT. 5. STEREO INPUT FILTER (LEFT) Accepts line level out from the left channel of a stereo source. The built-in low pass filter cuts frequencies from 100 Hz up, therefore making it possible to use the S40 with any stereo line source.
