The DA80, a highly advanced stereo amplifier and the M40 full range speakers were developed specifically for use with keyboard setups, project studios, and computer multimedia systems. -

C O N T R O L S 60Hz: Boost to bring out kick drum, bass guitar or to add more low end “punch” to a mix. Cutting this frequency can help clean up a muddy sound. 250Hz: Adjusts the mid bass range. NOTE: Please read the Operating Notes Section (pg. 4) of this manual before connection or attempting to operate the DMS80. 1. Unpack the DMS80. Find a secure place where the DA80 and M40 speakers will be used. The DA80 amplifier is strong enough to sup- port 40 lbs. - Page 12 I N S T A L L A T I O N 4. Continue adjusting until the sound level is balanced to the amplifier. • The DMS80 becomes very hot and sound distorts. The speakers are shorting. Recheck the wiring at the terminals or additional speakers which may have dropped the load impedance below 6 ohms. -

E I N S T E L L U N G E N 60Hz : Heben Sie diese Frequenz zur Unterstreichung des Kesselpauken- oder Baß-Gitarrenklangs an, oder um in Ihrer Tonmischung den Tiefen mehr ”punch” zu geben. Handbuches, bevor Sie den DMS anschließen oder ver- suchen ihn zu bedienen. Packen Sie den DMS80 aus. Finden Sie einen geschützten Platz für die Benutzung des DA80 und den Lautsprechern M40. Der Verstärker hält 18 kg aus und kann wenn erwünscht unter einem Komputerbildschirm aufge- baut werden. - Page 36 A U F B A U Bevor Sie den DA80 an das Stromnetz anschließen, versichern Sie sich, daß der Netzschalter auf OFF steht, und daß die Lautstärkeregelungen und die MIC/INST. Pegel heruntergedreht sind (im Gegenuhrzeigersinn). Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an einen adäquaten Wandanschluß. Sie die Lautstärke der Soundkarte. Setzen Sie die Einstellungen fort, bis der Tonpegel ausgeglichen ist. • Der DMS80 gibt viel Wärme ab, und der Ton ist verzerrt. Die Lautsprecher sind kurzgeschlossenen. Untersuchen Sie erneut die Anschlüße der Anschlußleisten oder die Lautsprecher, deren Belastungsimpedanz unter 6 Ohm gefallen sein könnte. -
