Find Your Operating System Version

Use the following procedure to find the OS version of your computer.

View WWAN Settings

Use the following procedure to view your current WWAN settings.

Reset the Computer

If the computer is not responding or an application locks up, you may need to reset the
computer. The computer uses the configuration currently saved in flash memory during
the boot process. There are two ways to reset the computer:

Restart or Shut Down the Computer

If an application is not responding, you can try to restart or shut down the computer.
1. Tap Start > Shutdown.
2. Select Shut down or Restart and tap OK.

Disconnect the UPS Battery

Disconnect the UPS battery when the computer completely stops responding or when
you are shipping the computer to another location. Because disconnecting may result
in data loss, use this method only if all other recovery methods have failed.
