Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. LOCK-OFF BUTTON The saw is equipped with a lock-off button which reduces the possibility of accidental starting. The lock-off button is located on the handle above the switch trigger.

UNPACKING This product requires assembly. n Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. n Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. n Do not discard the packing material until you have care- fully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool. -

NOTE: If the charger does not charge the battery pack under normal circumstances, return both the battery pack and charger to your nearest Ryobi Authorized Service Center for electrical check. n Charge the battery pack only with a recommended charger. - Page 12 LED. After 30 minutes, reinsert the battery pack in the charger. If the green LED continues to remain on, return battery pack to your nearest Ryobi Authorized Service Center for checking or replacing. NOTE: This situation only occurs when continuous use of the tool causes the batteries to become hot.
- Page 13 GENERAL CUTTING See Figure 6. Hold the saw firmly in front of and clearly away from you. Make sure saw blade is clear of any foreign material. Be sure material to be cut is held firmly. Small work pieces should be securely clamped in a vise or with clamps to the work bench or table.
