    INTRODUCTION The Russound R235LS is a 2-channel power amplifier with automatic local source switching capability. The R235LS allows a local source (e.g., PC or TV in the bedroom) to automatically override the speakers in that particular zone of a distributed audio system. This can be accomplished with a variety of input/trigger options for versatility in many different applications.
  • Page 4 R235LS AMPLIFIER Line Input: The line audio input is a sensing input that will activate the amplifier when an audio signal from a source is present. Only the Left input is used for bridged mode operation. Gain Controls: Left and Right gain controls inde- pendently adjust the sound level for each channel.

    R235LS AMPLIFIER POSSIBLE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION The R235LS can be used as a single-source two-channel zone amplifier, or as a local-source amplifier that auto- matically switches between a default source (e.g., a Line Outputs Video Right Left A/V RCA Cables Optional video sensing whole-house audio distribution system) and a local source (e.g., a television set in the bedroom or a PC in the office).

    Dimensions: WARRANTY The Russound R235LS is fully guaranteed for two (2) years from the date of purchase against all defects in materials and workmanship. During this period Russound will replace any defective parts and correct any defect in workman- ship without charge for either parts or labor. For this warranty to apply, the unit must be installed and used according to its written instructions.
