8. Appendix 1 HyperTerminal Starting Procedure
Click on the "START" menu, then "PROGRAM" -> "ACCESSORY" -> "HYPERTERMINAL".
Double-click on Hppertrm.exe. The following windows will appear.
Set the name, select the icon, and click on the 'OK" button. Select a serial port to be used such as
'DIRECT TO COMl" or "DIRECT TO COM2", and click on the OK button.
Set the communication parameters as follows.
Bit/set. : 9600
Data bit :8'
Parity
: None
Stop bit :l
Flow control : Xon/Xoff
Once the communication parameters have been set, click on the "OK" button. The following screen will
open.
