SRR Channel Settings Configuration Implications
Channel Use this setting to configure the SRR channel the monitor should use. SRR provides a total of
16 channels in the ISM (2.4 GHz) band. The ISM band is not exclusively reserved for SRR applications. It
is also used by, for example, the 2.4 GHz Wireless LAN (WLAN), the 2.4 GHz IntelliVue Telemetry
network, Bluetooth devices, and cordless phones using the 2.4GHz ISM band. Depending on the
hospital's existing wireless infrastructure, a number of SRR channels might already be occupied by other
wireless applications.
For detailed instructions on setting up SRR channels in a new or existing wireless infrastructure, refer to
the IntelliVue Service Guide and contact a Philips service representative.
