It is not recommended to terminate vent above any door or window, condensate can freeze causing ice formations.
Locate vent termination minimum 7' (2.1 m) above any public walkway, with consideration to condensate.
Position termination so it will not be effected by wind eddy, air born leaves, snow, or recirculated vent gases. Give consideration to excessive wind and
locate away from windward side of building.
Do not use chimney as a raceway if another boiler or fireplace is vented into or through chimney.
All CPVC vent pipes must be glued, except for the flue gas adapter pipe connection.
Vent terminations must keep the following minimum clearances from electric meters, gas meters, regulators and relief equipment: 4 feet (1220 mm)
[Canada 6 feet (1830 mm)] horizontally and in no case above and below, unless a horizontal distance of 4 feet (1220 mm) [Canada 6 feet (1830 mm)] is
maintained.
