INTRODUCTION Congratulations on owning a Rosen M10 WIdescreen Monitor! Here’s a partial list of some things you can do with your M10: · Display high-quality video images from DVD players, video game systems, and other video sources with composite video output.
“Wide”. USING THE BUILT-IN DOME LIGHTS The M10 system has built-in dome lights. In many vehicles, these built- in dome lights replace an original factory dome light which was displaced when the system was installed. The dome lights are controlled by both the Dome Light button on the front panel and by the matching Dome Light button on the remote control.

25 Day/Night This button decreases display brightness for optimum viewing in low light conditions. The M10 system also has an automatic dimming feature which dims display brightness automatically whenever the headlights are on (this feature is not compatible with all vehicles).

Volume Knob Power LED The M10 IR transmitter has two output channels, A and B. Using A and B, the M10 can transmit two different audio programs at the same time. When using optional Rosen AC3072 dual-channel headphones, listeners can switch between Channels A and B.
LISTENING OVER THE CAR SPEAKERS The M10 uses an FM Modulator (FMM) to send audio through the vehicle radio and speakers. To listen over your speakers: 1 Make sure system MUTE is off. Press SPEAKER. “SPEAKER SOUND ON FM _ _ . _” appears. (If “SPEAKER SOUND DIS- ABLED”...
This 10-disc changer plays CDs, DVDs, MP3 files, and Video CDs. It is fully compatible with your system (adapter kit required). R5000-series Rosen single-disc DVD player (R5600, etc.) This series of Rosen DVD players are compatible with the M10’s remote control DVD functions. AC3074 Remote Control This is the original replacement remote control for the M10.
ADJUSTING THE SCREEN ANGLE The Rosen M10 uses an advanced mechanical design to hold the screen at the perfect viewing angle for you, your passengers, and your vehicle. Here’s how to adjust the screen angle: First, press the OPEN button on the front panel, or on the remote.

Note: Best results are obtained by connecting only widescreen displays to the M10. DVD players can provide either widescreen video or standard, non-widescreen video - they cannot provide widescreen video for one screen and standard video for other screens.
USING THE M10 AS A SECOND SCREEN FOR A ROSEN A10 SYSTEM When the M10 is installed as a second screen for the Rosen A10 system, the M10’s infrared headphone transmitters are disabled, and it will not respond to its remote control. The A10acts as the infrared transmitter for both channels A and B.
Check the battery in the remote control. Remember that the source-unit functions are conly compatible with certain Rosen-brand source units. If the M10 is installed as a second screen for a Rosen A10, the M10 will not respond to its remote, but its remote will control the A10.
