The software SpotChecker
It is based on the thickness measurement in correla-
tion with the evaluation of the echo sequence. The to-
tal wall thickness is subdivided into zones whose limits
can be individually defi ned by you. An evaluation class
has been assigned to each thickness zone in correla-
tion with the number of backwall echoes. The zones
may be overlapping in this connection in order to allow
several evaluation possibilities in limit zones.
The evaluation classes do not specify the fl aw (e.g.
"burnt") but indicate any production interventions re-
quired.
The following evaluation classes are permanently fi led
in the memory:
OK (No fl aw)
NOK (Flaw)
TR + (Upper tolerance range)
TR – (Lower tolerance range)
You can individually defi ne the evaluation ranges by
entering the required values.
