Attention:
1. For the optimal performance, make sure both PHMs and corresponding DIMMs are installed to
the processor and memory expansion tray.
2. Air baffle is required for airflow that creates proper cooling. Make sure proper air baffle(s) for
system configuration is installed before the power is turned on.
After installing the processor and memory expansion tray, complete the following steps:
1. Reinstall power supply 2 (see "Install a hot-swap power supply unit" on page 108).
2. Install the PCIe expansion tray (see "Install the PCIe expansion tray" on page 151).
3. Install the top cover (see "Install the top cover" on page 148).
4. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
5. Power on the server and any peripheral devices.

Before removing the security bezel:
1. Read the safety information and installation guidelines (see "Safety" on page iii and "Installation
Guidelines" on page 59).
2. If the server is installed in a rack, extend or remove the server from the rack.
To remove the security bezel, complete the following steps:
