Use the set interface null0 command in Route Map Configuration mode to add
"null0" as the last entry in the interface list to force packets to be dropped and not
routed with the default destination-based routing process.
MOT (config-rmap)#set interface null0
The set ip next-hop command is used to define a list of IP addresses that
specify the next hop router in the path toward the destination to which the packets
should be forwarded. The first IP address associated with a reachable interface is
used to route the packets. Use the set ip next-hop command in Route Map
Configuration mode to set the next-hop attribute of a route:
MOT (config-rmap)#set ip next-hop <addr>
The set default interface command defines a list of default interfaces. If there is
no explicit route available to the destination address of the packet being
considered for policy routing, then it is sent to the first reachable interface in the
list of specified default interfaces. Use the set default interface command in
Route Map Configuration mode to set the default output interface:
MOT (config-rmap)#set default interface <A.B.C.D>
The set ip default next-hop command defines a list of default next hop IP
addresses. Routing to the interface or the next hop specified by this set command
occurred only if there is no route for the destination address of the packet in the
routing table. The presence of a default route in the routing table will ensure that
destination-based forwarding will always be applied and policy will be ignored.
Use the set ip default next-hop command in Route Map Configuration mode to
set the next-hop of a route:
MOT (config-rmap)#set ip default next-hop <A.B.C.D>
