One or more tape drives fail to spin up during start-up

• Verify cable connections and termination.
• Make sure the OCP does not show the drive power as off.
• Check that the power supplies are switched on for that level (clusters 0 - 5).
• Check that the cluster controller is properly cabled and ready.

been removed.

• Issue a Move Cartridge command using your application software to move the cartridge from
the picker to an empty storage bin.
• If the problem continues, contact a field service engineer.

The barcode reader fails

• Verify that nothing obstructs the reader.
• Make sure that approved bar-code labels are being used and are correctly applied.
