Backup battery
The memory battery is integrated and charged automatically when the system is supplied with
mains voltage.
The thermostat has a save function for the saved data during an electric power outage. Thus the
data is not lost in event of a power loss. However, if the battery is used up (after about 1 hour)
the data is lost in such case!
Maintenance, Care & Disposal
Before cleaning the device or performing maintenance, the following safety notes must be
observed:

Only a specialist who is familiar with the risks and relevant regulations
may carry out repairs or open the device.
Before cleaning or maintaining the thermostat, switch off the electric cir-
cuit! Precautionary measures must be taken to ensure that the equip-
ment cannot be switched on by unauthorised persons!
This device is maintenance free. The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft
dry cloth or a soft brush. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could
damage the housing or impair operation.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong to the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
