To Load and Play a Disc

Open the DVD player by pushing the OPEN switch to the left and lifting gently. Turn on your DVD
Player (move the POWER switch on the side of the player to the ON position).

1. Press the OPEN button on the left side of the disc tray. The disc tray opens.
2. Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc's label facing up (double-sided
discs have content on both sides, so you can place either side up).
3. Press gently on the left side of the tray door labeled PUSH until it clicks shut.
4. Press the PLAY button on the right side of the disc tray. The DVD Player reads
the disc's table of contents, and then one of three things happens depending
on how the disc was programmed:
• The disc starts playing.
• The disc menu appears on the screen. One of the options will start disc
play. Highlight that option and press
• The DVD Player's main menu appears on the screen. Highlight the Play
option and press
When you stop playing a disc, the DVD player remembers where you stopped.
When you start playing the disc again, the player picks up where you left off
unless the disc is removed, the player is unplugged, or you pressed the STOP
button twice.
Adjusting the Color and Brightness
You can adjust the color and brightness of the picture by using the buttons directly
below the screen.
• Color – Push the Color button with the up arrow to add more color to the
picture. Push the Color button with the down arrow to reduce color in the
picture.
• Brightness – Push the Brightness button with the up arrow to brighten the
picture. Push the Brightness button with the down arrow to darken the picture.
