Timer mode

Switch the Counter/Timer switch to timer mode.

Select the total task time. Set the Task time switch to 5, 10, or 20 minutes as

required. (Note that the Count Rate switch has no effect in this mode.)
The display will show the total number of minutes and seconds for the Task
n
Time.
Press the Start/Stop button. The Green LED will switch on and the display will
n
begin counting down the time. Every second the display will decrease the
time by 1 second. 09:59, 09:58, 09:57 etc.
After half of the Task Time has elapsed the Green LED will switch off and the
n
Amber LED will switch on. The timer will continue to count down.
When the Task Time has expired, the Amber LED will switch off and the Red
n
LED will switch on. The display will show 00:00 and the count-down will
cease.
n Unless further time is added using the remote control, no further counting
will occur until the Start/Stop button is pressed again.
