CLEAR Removes any menu or display from the screen and returns you to TV viewing. DVD Puts the remote in DVD mode to operate RCA, GE and Proscan DVD players. It cannot be programmed. FORWARD If you’re operating a VCR or DVD player with the remote control, press FORWARD to advance a disc or videotape. - Page 17 To turn off all the RCA, GE, and PROSCAN components that are connected to the TV, press ON•OFF twice within two seconds. Using the TV’s Menu System How to Use the Different Types of Menus and Control Panels The TV’s menu system has three types of screens: menus, control panels, and choice lists. You use the buttons on the remote or the front panel to access the menu system and make changes to the settings. - Page 33 If the control panel is not set to the current time, use the VOL + and VOL – buttons to go back over the columns and the digits to make changes. You can also enter numbers by using the CHAN ^ and CHAN v buttons on the remote.
