Switching off the motor when SS1 is active

If you switch the motor off with the OFF1 or OFF3 command while the SS1 safety function is
active, for example when limit switches are reached, this does not affect how the motor
behaves. SS1 remains active and the inverter brakes the motor with the OFF3 ramp-down
time until the standstill detection threshold is reached.
If you switch the motor off with the OFF2 command when SS1 is active, the inverter cuts off
the motor torque immediately (STO). The motor then coasts to a standstill.

To switch the motor on again, proceed as follows:
● Deactivate SS1.
● Specify the OFF1 command.
● Switch on the motor (ON command).
