STOP reactions

The inverter responds to an "internal event" with a STOP (STOP A, STOP B or STOP F).
Figure 6-1
Response of the motor in the event of a STOP
STOP A
In the event of a STOP A, the inverter immediately cuts off the connected motor torque. This
response corresponds to stop category 0, which is defined in EN 60204.
STOP B
In the event of a STOP B, the inverter decelerates the motor with the OFF3 ramp-down time
until it detects the standstill in accordance with the Stop Category 1 as per EN 60204. Once
the motor has been decelerated until a standstill, a STOP A follows.
The inverter monitors the braking of the motor. If the motor does not follow the defined brake
ramp, the inverter interrupts the braking of the motor and responds with a STOP A.
STOP F
A STOP F does not immediately bring about a reaction of the motor, but instead it triggers
another stop:
● If fault F01611 is the cause of the STOP F, the inverter immediately triggers a STOP A.
