Test Print Mode (Test Mode 04)

The embedded test pattern can be printed out by keying in the codes in the test print mode (04).
Operation procedure
[CANCEL]
[0][4]
Select
[POWER]
"ENTER
THE CODE"
using the
arrow button.
(Select)
Notes:
1. By service call occurs or JAM, pressing the [ENERGY SAVER] button, it is possible to check
the error code in the top screen but the recovery operation is not performed. Turn OFF the
power and then back ON to clear the error.
2. During test printing, the [CLEAR/STOP] button is disabled when "Wait adding toner" is
displayed.
Remarks:
Select the paper type for test printing and a drawer.
<Procedure>
Example: Selecting the paper type
1. [0]+[4]+[POWER]
2. Use the [Arrow] button to select "PAPER TYPE" and then press [OK].
3. Use the [Arrow] button to select a paper type ("PLAIN" or "THICK") and then press [OK].
Refer to "14.SELF-DIAGNOSIS CODE (03/04/05/08 CODE)" in this manual for the codes
available in the test print mode.
