  • Page 5 Wearing the PSM (See Figure1) To minimize interference and optimize PSM performance, wear the radio and PSM so that the accessory cord will not cross over or touch the antenna. Also, try to wear the radio and accessory fairly close to each other to avoid strain on the accessory connector.
  • Page 6 Receiving When the PSM is connected to the radio (side connector and antenna port) the PSM antenna is enabled, the radio’s speaker is muted, and the audio is only heard from the PSM speaker. Similarly, when a secondary receiver audio accessory is plugged into the 3.5 mm audio jack, audio to the PSM is re-routed to the secondary accessory.

Remove the PSM connector from the radio side connector. 3. Reattach the radio antenna; screw the antenna into the radio antenna jack in a clockwise direction until tighten.
