Periodic Maintenance Procedures
Replace the oil filter [A] with a new one.
Apply grease to the grommet [B].
Install the oil filter so that grommet faces engine side.
Inside out installation stop oil flow, causing engine
Replace the oil filter cap O-ring [A] with a new one.
Apply grease to the O-ring.
Oil Filter Cap [C]
Torque - Oil Filter Cap Bolts: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 106 in·lb)
Pour the specified engine oil (see Engine Oil Change).
Breather Hose Inspection
Be certain that the breather hose [A] is routed without
being flattened or kinked and is connected correctly.
If it is not, correct it.
