Squeeze the front brake lever, and hold it with a band [A]
to prevent the motorcycle from running forward.
Motorcycle may fall over unexpectedly resulting in
an accident or injury. Be sure to hold the front brake
when removing the rear wheel.
Be sure to hold the front brake when removing the
rear wheel, or the motorcycle may fall over. The rear
wheel or the motorcycle could be damaged.

Pull out the axle, and remove the chain adjuster on both
Remove the rear wheel.
Remove the collars [A] with caps [B] on both sides.
Do not lay the wheel on the ground with the disc
facing down. This can damage or warp the disc.
Place blocks under the wheel so the disc does not
touch the ground.
Insert a wood wedge between the brake pads.
This prevents them from being moved out of their proper
position, should the brake pedal be squeezed acciden-
