Defrosting
Defrost the appliance at least once a year or when the ice on the walls reaches a thickness of about
3 mm. In between one defrosting and the next, remove frost from time to time from the freezer grids using a spatula.
Do not use sharp or pointed tools.
Any damage to the appliance resulting from failure to observe these instructions is not covered by the guarantee.
Defrost the appliance preferably when the amount of frozen food is minimal or when the appliance is empty.
If there are still frozen foods in the freezer, press the fast freeze button a few hours before defrosting to further
chill the food.
The frozen food must be wrapped in sheets of newspaper (or a cover) and kept in the refrigerator or a cool place.
Unplug the appliance from the mains and leave the door open.
To remove the drawers, pull upwards from the front.
Avoid using defrosting sprays commercially available: they may contain harmful substances. After defrosting the
appliance, rinse and dry carefully. Reconnect the appliance and activate the function " fast freezing". Replace the
frozen food in the freezer. Two hours after the red temperature alarm LED switches off, deactivate the "fast freeze"
function.
