There are different types of heating elements
depending on voltage and effect, fig. 1:
To order the correct heating element, see label
on the heating element for voltage and effect.
Replacing heating element
1. Disconnect the power to the dryer.
2. Demount the back plate.
3. Disconnect thermostat wires A, fig. 2.
4. Disconnect the three connectors on the left
side of the heating element box, fig. 3.
5. Unscrew the four screws on both sides and the
three at the top of the heating element box,
fig. 4.
