Channel Allocation

The Channel Allocation menu helps you man-
age the channels such as Sort, Erase Chan-
nel, Lock, Skip, and Channel Label.
In the Setup menu, press ▲ or ▼ to select
Channel Allocation and press ► to enter the
submenu.

Sort
• The TV is capable of receiving a number of
different channels depending upon where you
live.
• Sorting channel position is an easy way of
storing each channel on the position of your
choice.
In the Channel Allocation menu, press
▲ or ▼ to select Sort and press ► to
enter the submenu.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select the first channel
you want for sorting and then press
or ◄ to mark it. Press ▲ or ▼ again
to select the second channel and then
press or ► to swap their positions.

Erase
Erase the channels from the channel list.
Note: You can re-obtain the erased channels
using Auto Tuning or Manual Tuning.
In the Channel Allocation menu, press
▲ or ▼ to select Erase Channel and
press ► to enter the submenu.
Press ▲ or ▼ to select the channel you
want for erasing and then press
erase it.
Lock
This function blocks channels that you do not
want to watch or that you do not want your
children to watch.
A password is required to access this function.
Note: The factory default password is "0000".
In the Channel Allocation menu, press
▲ or ▼ to select Lock and press ► to
enter the submenu.
Press ▲ or ▼ to select the channel you
want for locking and then press
Enter the 4-digit password.

A lock symbol appears when the channel
is locked.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select the channel that
you want to disable Lock and then press

Enter the 4-digit password to unlock the
channel.
