For the best performance and longest life, we recom- mend RadioShack alkaline batteries. Cautions: • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recom- mended type.

Batteries can leak chemi- cals that can destroy electronic parts. CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL SPEAKER To share your music and singing with a larger audience, you can connect an 8-ohm speaker (not supplied) to the karaoke machine.

Modifying or tampering with the karaoke machine’s internal com- ponents can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warran- ty.
