    Directly On a Wall For this mounting method, you need two screws (not supplied) with heads that fit into the keyhole slots on the bottom of the base. 1. Drill two holes 3 inches (100 mm) apart. Then thread a screw into each hole, letting the heads extend about inch (4 mm) from the wall.

    STORING YOUR AREA CODE To dial a number from a Caller ID record (see “Dialing a Number from a Caller ID Record” on Page 13), you must first store your local area code in the phone’s memory. Then, when you dial from a Caller ID record, the system skips the area code if it matches the one you stored.
