    INSTALLATION SELECTING A LOCATION You can place the phone’s base on a desk top or table, or mount it on a wall. Select a location that is: • near an accessible AC outlet • near a telephone line jack • out of the way of normal activities •...

    CONNECTING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK The phone comes with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery pack in the handset, but not connected. Before us- ing your phone, you must connect the battery pack and then charge it for about 24 hours. 1.
