    5. Lift the base’s antenna to a vertical position. CONNECTING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK The ET-1101 comes with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery pack. You must connect the battery pack and charge it for at least 15 hours before you use the phone.
