    INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack 5.8 GHz Multi Handset Expandable Cordless Telephone. Unlike other conventional cordless telephones, your telephone supports up to ten handsets on a single telephone line. You can add a handset to any room in your home or office that has an AC outlet.

    Your telephone connects directly to a modular telephone line jack. If your telephone wiring does not have a modular jack, you can update the wiring yourself using jacks and adapters (available at your local RadioShack store), or have the telephone company update the wiring for you.

    Room/Baby Monitor This feature allows you to monitor sounds in another room. Place the base or a handset in the room you wish to monitor; it will function as a microphone. A second handset can be set to function as a remote speaker, allowing you to monitor sounds in the room.

You can set the ring time to answer after two, four, or six rings.
