Note
: In Standby Mode or Talk Mode, the display
automatically turns off after some time,
depending on your setting in the
menu to conserve your battery power. Press
any key to turn the display on.

LED Indicator

The LED indicator is on the top right of the phone. It
flashes to indicate incoming calls or messages. The
light also glows for a few seconds when you turn the
phone on or off and turns to red to indicate that the
battery is being charged.

Getting Started

Using the Battery

Your Samsung phone comes packaged with a partially
charged, rechargeable Lithium Ion (Li-ion) battery.
Installing the Battery
1. Place the battery back on the phone so that its tabs
match the grooves on the phone.
2. Gently push the top end of the battery down until
you hear it clicks into place.
Make sure that the battery is correctly installed
before switching on the phone.
