Changing Radio Settings

1. Press MENU then press  or  to scroll through the features menu. A feature
and one of its options appears.
2. Press  or  to view the feature's
options.
. Press SELECT at the feature you want.
An asterisk (*) appears next to the
selected feature.
. Press MENU to exit or return to a
previous level.

Alert If no key is pressed when the radio receives an alert, the
Reminder radio will sound a reminder message every 30 seconds until
the effective alert time expires.

– the radio will scan for the best weather channel
Auto
(strongest signal strength) automatically after power on.
– the radio will return to the current weather
Manual
radio channel after power on.
– when an alert is received, an alert tone will sound
Tone
for 5 minutes. Pressing any key stops the alert.

sound for 10 seconds, then an audio broadcast for 5
minutes.
