Partitions under Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows XP Professional

You need to reset the partitions after installing a new drive if the partitions are corrupt or if
you want to change the layout of the partitions.
Partitioning the SSD
In the factory state, the following partitions are set up on the SSD:
Partition
1. Partition
2. Partition
To restore the original partition of the factory state, we recommend you use the software tool
"SIMATIC IPC Image & Partition Creator".

Adapting partitions in Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows Embedded Standard 7

With the disk management, you can adapt the partitioning of your drives.
You can reduce or delete an available partition to acquire unassigned memory space, which
you can use to set up a new partition or to increase an existing partition.
Note
Data lost in the case of deleting a partition!
If you delete a partition, all the data on this partition is lost.
Back up your data before you change partitions.
Requirement
You are logged on as an administrator.
Reduce partition
1. Click with the right mouse button on the partition to be reduced and click on "Reduce
size".
2. Follow the instructions.
