CD-3319 until it clicks. To detach each speaker, press and hold the speaker’s locking latch away from the CD-3319, then lift the speak- er straight up. Note: If you want to connect speakers other than the supplied ones, use speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms.
CONNECTING AN AUXILIARY AUDIO SOURCE To connect an auxiliary audio source to your CD-3319, such as a TV or VCR, plug the audio source’s left and wire right line level audio wires into (left) and (right).

For private listening, you can connect a pair of stereo headphones (not sup- plied) with a -inch plug. Your local Radio Shack store carries a wide se- lection of stereo headphones. To connect the headphones, insert the headphones’ -inch plug into the PHONES jack.

14-543.fm Page 17 Wednesday, June 30, 1999 3:52 PM CASSETTE PLAYER OPERATION LOADING A CASSETTE TAPE Note: Take up any slack in the tape by turning the cassette’s hub with a pencil. If you do not remove excess slack, the tape might become tangled in the record/playback mechanism.

Modifying or tampering with the CD-3319’s internal components can cause a mal- function and might invalidate its warranty and void your FCC authorization to oper- ate it. If the CD-3319 is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for assistance.
