8.5 Setting the Multipaths

Start the maintenance mode for the server in which the multipath is configured.
When the server is in maintenance mode, the "!" image is displayed next to the XenServer icon.

Edit the "/etc/multipath.conf" file.
Check the "/etc/multipath.conf" file for the system that is used and apply the necessary changes accord-
ing to the following examples.
Depending on the XenServer version, the contents that are shown in the example may not be inclu-
ded in the "/etc/multipath.conf" file. In that case, add all the contents shown in the example into the
file.
For XenServer 7.0 and 7.1

Define the settings at the end of the "/etc/multipath.conf" file as shown below.
