Setting Up and Using Your Speaker
Placing Your Speaker
Place your speaker in the desired location on a flat, hard surface. Do not
hang it.
Connecting Your Speaker
Using the Speaker Terminals
1. Connect one pair of speaker wires(not
supplied) to the color-coded connectors
on the back of the speaker, and match the
connectors to your amplifier.
• Or, you can use more than one speaker.
This results in an 8-ohm load on the
amplifier. If you connect a second
speaker in series, the load increases to
16 ohms. If you connect a second
speaker in parallel, the load decreases
to 4 ohms. Check your amplifier's
specifications to determine the best
connection.
2. To insert the speaker wire, press down on
the red or black push-release button on the
back of the speaker and insert the tip of the
speaker wire.
Using the Mono Plug
Plug the1/4-inch Mono plug (not supplied)
into the MONO jack on rear of the speaker,
and plug the other end into your amplifier's
OUTPUT jack.
Operation
Adjust the amplifier's volume to the desired listening level.
Cautions:
• Do not use the speaker terminals and Mono plug connections at same
time.
• To protect your hearing, set the audio source's volume to the minimum
level.
• Make sure the audio source's power is turned off.

speakers by cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner. Use
a feather duster or a soft, loose cloth instead.
