Etiquette mode
Press and hold
on the standby screen
(Press and hold again to cancel the mode)

is displayed on the standby screen.
• You can select the Etiquette mode in order not to be
courteous in public places. You can still hear ring through the
stereo earphone if it is connected to the phone.
• The etiquette mode is maintained when you switch off/on the
phone as the etiquette mode is on.
In the etiquette mode
Vibrate Setting/Vibrate: Power on, ring, alarm, new message
Mute Setting/No ring: Power on, ring, new message alert
No sound: Ring back tone, power off, out of coverage alert, menu
tone, key tone (Same for Vibrate and Mute)
Emergency ring: Emergency message alert (The emergency
message is provided if there is an emergency broke
out in a specific area.) (Same for Vibrate and Mute)
Sound: Photo/video tone (Same for Vibrate and Mute)

Volume
You may adjust volume for each function.

to select an item.
• Ringtone: Adjust the volume of the ring for incoming calls.
• Message Alert Type: Adjust the volume of the new message alert.
• Effect Sound: Adjust volume of phone operating effect tone.
• Alarm/Schedule: Adjust the volume of alarm.
• Missed: Adjust the volume of the missed call alert.
• Idle Screen: Adjust the volume of the video or the content
selected for the standby screen.

to adjust the volume of the selected item.

after adjusting the volume.
Note
• If you adjust the volume (effect sound, Idle screen, alarm schedule,
voice, ringtone), the volume menu state is also changed.
• If livescreen is selected for the screen, the standby screen is depending
on the june setting. If the live screen sound is set to OFF, no sound is
heard. ('june setting', refer to page 131)
Operation Effects
You can select different alert tones for different situations.

to select an item.
• Key Tone: You can select the key action tone.
• Power On/Off tone: You can select the tones for power on and
power off. (If you select 'Off', no power on/off tone is heard.)
• Folder Sound: Effect tone for folder opening/closing.
• Battery Warning: You can select the alert for low battery.
• Call Connected: You can select the tones for call
connection/disconnection.
• 1 minute Beep: You can select the tone provided when the call
time passes 1 min.
• Out of Service: You can select the alert for out of service area.

Missed call alert
You can set the missed call tone and the counter.
