Reducing ECG Data Noise
If the acquired ECG data displays unacceptable noise
levels:
n
Verify proper electrode placement.
n
Verify proper electrode application. Perspiration and
dead skin cells must be removed from the electrode site.
n
Check for defective or date expired electrodes.
n
Check for defective, broken, or disconnected leadwires.
n
Check the patient's position. The patient should remain
motionless during the acquisition of a resting ECG.

There is no ACI-TIPI report.

ACI-TIPI is disabled.

Enable ACI-TIPI.
n
The selected report is "without interpretation."
u
Select "Interpretation" for the report.
n
The ACI-TIPI required information is not entered.
u
Make sure the age range, gender, and whether chest
pain complaint are entered.
n
The patient was entered as pediatric.
u
Make sure you enter an age range >16.
n
The original ECG was acquired in an
electrocardiograph without the ACI-TIPI option.
