    Mounting The rear panel of the unit includes holes conforming to the hole patterns of numerous domestic and international electrical boxes. Actual Size ESD Warning - Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage equipment and impair electrical circuitry. It occurs when electronic components are improperly handled and can result in complete or intermittent failures.
  • Page 6 Computer Requirements & Software Installation Installing QSControl.net is relatively simple. All that is necessary is to choose the folder where the program is to be stored (the default setting is acceptable for most applications). It is recommended the system meet the following minimum requirements: 1- IBM PC compatible computer with a Pentium 4 processor.
  • Page 7 Utility Navigation Map During normal use the LCD navigation map will be defined by the user’s design created using QSControl.net. However, the UTILITY SELECT MENU has a fixed navigation map. To enter the UTILITY SELECT MENU, press and hold the Rotary Button, then simultaneously press the Blue Button. The user will be prompted for the Admin/Utility Password.

  • Page 9 Passwords There are two passwords on the NAC-100, one for Utility Select Menu, and one for Control Items. The Admin/Utility Password allows access to the Utility Select Menu. (Change password in QSControl.net by clicking the Admin/Utility Password button on the edit screen for the NAC-100.) The Control Password limits access to specified Control Items during normal use.

    Getting Started This section outlines one of the simpler methods of getting familiar with NAC-100 and the QSControl.net Venue Manager software. The goal of this procedure is to get your computer and the NAC-100 connected and communicating and the Venue Manager software installed and running.
  • Page 17 17- If the NAC-100 does not show in the Inventory, check the cable connections, verify IP addresses are set correctly, verify Subnet masks are set correctly, and verify PoE is properly applied to the NAC-100. 18- Double-Click on the NAC-100 in the Inventory.     Resetting the NAC-100 Resetting the NAC-100 should only be performed as a last resort. To reset the NAC-100, cycle the power. -Remove the cover of NAC-100 to access the RJ45 jack, located on the circuit board of the NAC-100. -Unplug the Ethernet cable from the RJ45 jack. (Screen will turn off.) -Reconnect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 jack.
