SPDIF setup

In this menu, you can set up digital audio format
outputing from coaxial and optical terminals.

Press SYSTEM MENU to enter the SETUP menu.
Press the 34 keys to choose the SPDIF SETUP

menu.

Press OK.
NOTE:
SPDIF is the abbreviation of Sony Philips Digital
Interface which is a protocol of digital data
transfering.

SPDIF OUT setup

Press the 34 keys to highlight the SPDIF OUT

item.

Enter its submenu by pressing
the 2 key.
Press the 34 keys to highlight

the selected item.
RAW: Original digital signals
output.
PCM: Convert to PCM signals to output.

Press OK.
Press the 1 key and return to the SPDIF SETUP

menu.

LPCM 96K mode

In this menu, you can set up sampling rate to
decode LPCM audio.
Press the 34 keys to highlight the LPCM 96K

item.

Enter its submenu by pressing
the 2 key.

Move the cursor by pressing the
34 keys to highlight the selected
item.
ON: Detect the loading disc for appropriate
sampling rate.
OFF: The decoding process is under the
sampling rate of 48KHz.

Press OK.
Press the 1 key to return to the SPDIF SETUP

menu.

Video Out Setup
There are items included in VIDEO OUT PAGE
menu as TV DISPLAY, VIDEO OUTPUT, TV
TYPE, PICTURE SOURCE, PROGRESSIVE SCAN,
BRIGHTNESS.

Press STOP twice.

Press SYSTEM MENU to enter its menu.

Highlight the SETUP VIDEO OUTPUT item by
pressing the 34 keys.

Press OK.

Video output

In this menu, you can setup the video output for
high quality video performance.
Press the 34 keys to highlight VIDEO OUTPUT

in the VIDEO OUTPUT PAGE menu.
Press the 2 key to highlight the item of the

submenu.
Press the 34 keys to choose an item.

S-VIDEO: Video signals will
send an output from the S-
VIDEO on the rear panel of the
DVD player.
YPBPR: If your TV set is
equiped with Y/PB/PR input, you can choose for
high quality picture.

Press OK.
Press the 1 key to return to the VIDEO
5
OUTPUT PAGE menu.
NOTE: Any selection will not influence the signal
output of composite video.
